Days to go : 80
At the weekend Alan and I drove over to Bramcote Barracks near Nuneaton where Dan had organised some of his guys to give our cars the once over.

My car spent most of Saturday and Sunday up on the ramps where, with much help from Mitch, Dexter and Robert we managed to change the auto gearbox filter and oil and fit new cooling pipes (not and easy job) as well as replacing all of the bushes with nice shiney red polybushes. Alan, again with help from the guys, fitted a new radiator and removed half of Hampshire from his intercooler (the Salisbury Plain trip had taken its toll) as well as few other jobs. Both vehicles were then taken to the service bay and treated to nice new oil in the diffs and transfer boxes as well as a good greasing and a dose of looking at. |

We will add more detail about the work later but for now we would both like to thank the guys of the 30th Signal Regiment L.A.D. at Bramcote, Dan for organising it all and Stephanie for putting up with us, cooking the pizzas and making a superb cooked breakfast. |
