"No man can live this life and emerge unchanged. He will carry the imprint of the desert, the brand which marks the nomad; and he will have a yearning to return. For this cruel land can cast a spell which no temperate climate can match."
Wilfred Thesiger, Explorer.

Morocco 3 - Rise of the Boldies (we're trying again)

All systems go.

Distance travelled : 190 miles
Current location : Folkestone

Well it was eventually 4 o'clock when we left but we are finally on our way.
As I write this we are at the Folkestone premier inn having a nice meal.

Apart from an unwelcome appearance from the airbag warning light the car has performed perfectly. So Mr. Rickwood is £2 poorer having chosen the M25 as the site of our first breakdown

The packing of the car seemed to take forever. The main boxes were fine, it was all the little bits that we had to find space for which took the time.

We will be up for breakfast at 7 so that we can catch the 08:50 Chunnel.

Hopefully our next update will be from the heart of France in Dijon.

I bet you can't wait...........
