We have camped wild in the Chott for two nights.
It has rained most days and we had a severe thunderstorm through the night.
The winch has packed in, the fog guard has come loose and I am on my 3rd fuel filter. We have been stuck twice in the deeper dunes and had to turn back because the going became impossible but the car hasn't broken down as yet.
Tomorrow it's deeper into the desert en route to Ksar Ghilane.
The dinner is cooked so that's enough for now.
